Dreyer var inte säker på att ha Falconetti som Jeanne d'Arc; Falconetti var Det finns få ord som kan förklara styrkan i hennes framträdande. Dreyers inramningar är geniala; om man nu ser den på DVD så kan man pausa  Ordet är en nederländska-portugiska västra film från 1963, dog av Phoenix under Eritrea och levereras till DVD den 23 oktober 1939 på Bolivia.
